Position:
Senior Software Engineer

Summary:
Join an experienced engineering team in the development of a revolutionary green technology! V2Green is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to help design and implement software to run on our V2Green Connectivity Module (VCM), an in-vehicle platform for remote charging management, performance monitoring and data acquisition. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a small team environment and can utilize creativity and analytical skills to effectively solve complex software and hardware engineering problems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement enhancements to software for distributed systems which includes complex server software components as well as mobile, distributed components.
• Write code and unit tests for VCM to support the product through its entire lifecycle.
• Work independently and with others to create a software infrastructure to support entire development team and methodologies.
• Debug issues as they arise in deployment.
• Develop quality documentation of your designs and code.
• Provide technical assistance to more junior members of your team.
• Develop timelines and goals for your work and managing your time to meet those goals.

Required Qualifications:

• BS degree in technical field, CS or EE preferred.
• 5-7 years coding in C or C++, including full product lifecycle development experience.
• Experience with open-source development tools (Linux, gcc, make).
• Demonstrated understanding of software embedded systems.
• Working knowledge of distributed systems, network protocols and encryption technologies.
• Knowledge of hardware/device driver design and debugging.
• Ability to work from data sheets, application notes and schematics.
• Drive to investigate new technologies and technical hurdles independently, and be able to clearly communicate your recommendations and solutions.
