Senior Software Engineer In Test

Summary:
Join an experienced engineering team in the development of a revolutionary green technology product! V2Green is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer in Test to help design and implement QA systems for the server team focused on managing plug-in vehicle interactions with the electric grid. You may also contribute to the test infrastructure for our V2Green Connectivity Module (VCM). The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a small team environment and can utilize creativity and analytical skills to effectively solve complex software engineering problems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute a comprehensive test plan for distributed systems which includes complex server software components as well as mobile, distributed components.
• Design and deliver automated test infrastructure to support entire test and development teams and methodologies.
• Manage the full test lifecycle including the review of functional requirements, composing detailed test plans and cases, creating and running test scripts and documentation and execution of the testing process.
• Work closely with others in the engineering team to identify and resolve issues.
• Provide technical assistance to more junior members of your team.
• Develop timelines and goals for your work and managing your time to meet those goals.

Required Qualifications:

• BS degree in technical field, CS or EE preferred.
• 5+ years experience in Java or C#, including full product lifecycle development experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of software embedded systems.
• Working knowledge of distributed client/server systems, networking and security technologies preferred.
• Drive to investigate new technologies and technical hurdles independently, and be able to clearly communicate your recommendations and solutions.
• Experience with Junit helpful.
